Since when in this great country of ours, has logic and common sense been surpplanted by mob mentality and fear driven media outlets? If you listen to mainstream media then, you already know Obama is the smartest and best educated President that this country has ever seen. How then does this supreme scholar not understand that you cannot spend more than you make? You may for a short time to get through difficulty, but this type of spending can't be sustained.
I know most of us have turned to credit cards in the past for that large purchase or even to make it through to payday. However, would you spend such a large amount of money and spread it out over such a timeframe that it will literally become impossible to ever pay off your debt? And if by some miracle you ever achieved such a goal, you then would actually pay for it 5-10 times over the original cost due to the interest accrued.
This sounds like foolishness displayed by a college freshman who over extended on that first taste of freedom and first credit card approval letter. I would expect more from the leader of the free world. I guess when you think about it, Obama is that 18 year old freshman. Thanks to the backing of most major media outlets, and George Soros's money, this one term Senator is now the most powerful man in the world. Now he is the little fish in the biggest pond possible. These are the results we should expect from a one term Senator/community organizer I guess.
George Bush has been criticized for his lack of intelligence unabashedly for the last 8 years. I however would welcome his humility and honest handshake to Obama's smug intellectual superiority complex and his knowing that he is the smartest man in the room. I would welcome a good ole boy from Texas anyday over an intellectual elitist who was too blinded by ideology to see the forest through the trees. But after all what would I know; I am just a common man with common sense.
